Language
Language is the primary tool for acquiring knowledge and is paramount in navigating any social environment. It is well researched that the preschooler’s mind is more efficient at picking up language than an adult. This is the best stage to introduce them to languages. Students will be spoken to and engaged often both in English and Spanish and exposed to a wide vocabulary. This will be reinforced with visual representation of the words and their relationship to the alphabet. Smaller words, names of students and close family members as well as any of the students’ interest will be used to introduce writing. At the end of their time here at Zenith, students will be equipped to engage both in social and academic environments.
